Giving something back to the community was very important and all proceeds from the event went to Friends of Clay Cross Hospital.

In 2007, Tracy Pittuck and Jane Birkin took over the management of the event to keep it going with Christine, a Reiki master for over 22 years, who has remained a large part of it.

Tracy said, “My first Reiki healing experience was at this event in 2004. Christine asked me if I had tried Reiki and when I said no she suggested a tasting session. . I lay down on the sofa, my eyes closed to help focus on the treatment in a crowded room. I was absolutely stunned to feel something moving in my stomach, so I had to take a quick glance, to see the healer’s hands hovering above me working in my aura … I closed eyes then I started to visualize the color red in my third eye … It was definitely an experience, the first in a long series. I was so excited to attend the workshop the following January.

“I am very passionate about this incredible healing energy, which is why I love to present it to others.”
