Hailey Bieber is candid about her mental health journey.
In a new video posted to her YouTube channel on Tuesday, the model, 25, explained how therapy has been central to her mental health wellness plan for the past few years.
“There are several things I like to do to control myself,” Bieber said in the video that highlights Mental Health Awareness Month. “One of those things is talking to someone you trust.”

Bieber revealed that she had been seeing a therapist for four years, a relationship she credits with improving her mental well-being. “It’s something I wasn’t sure about at first,” she said. “But the more I’ve developed my relationship with my therapist, the more it’s been a game-changer for me and it’s a space where I feel really safe to be able to talk about what’s going on in my mind, say things to out loud and feeling safe and not feeling judged.
Bieber also said the breathing exercises helped her “when she was feeling a lot of anxiety.” Other self-care activities she enjoys include baths and spending time in nature.
Given that Bieber has 44.7 million Instagram followers, it’s no surprise that social media has “tested” his inner peace.

“I’m someone who has a hard time pleasing people and really wants everyone to like me and cares a lot about what people have to say and what they think,” he said. -she explains.
But despite the “negativity” that can accompany social media, Ms Bieber also believes there are many positives to life online. “I think it’s a really wonderful and beautiful tool to be able to connect with people,” she said. “There’s a lot about it that I love too and I’m just in a space where I’m trying to have the healthiest relationship possible with social media.”
